- Observe different types & specifications of heavy forklifts
- Identify the parts of heavy forklift
- Observe & apply safety practices according to CP and SOP when carrying out inspection of internal and external of heavy forklift
- Understand details of mechanisms
- Apply lift truck physics
- Safe practices for operating heavy forklifts
- Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) correctly
- Report any abnormalities in heavy forklift
- Identify environment and safe routes
- Observe safe forklift driving on different terrains and ramps
- Assess loads for transport
- Evaluate Loads to ensure Adherence to Heavy Lifting Safety Measures
- Understand cargo handling labels
- Understand types of stacking
- Ascertain Components of Safe Lifting
- Observe types of terrain before movement
